- What is local tourist tax?
The income generated from this Tourist Tax is used to promote and increase tourist frequentation.
- Who pays Tourist tax?
Owners of holiday accommodation are obliged to perceive local tourist tax from all clients over the age of 18. Receipts are available from the SIVOM in Les Saisies.
- When does one declare tourist tax?
The sum total of tourist tax perceived must be paid by cheque to the SIVOM in Les Saisies (cheque made payable to the Trésor Public) before the 15th May and the 30th September of each year.
- How much is the Tourist Tax?
The price, per person per day, changes depending on the type of accommodation. Children under 18 are exempt.
Regular controls are made in order to verify resident status. Failure to declare may lead to paying fines and sanctions.
